I love this sunscreen. I wear the tinted sunscreen as a lightweight foundation and it evens out a lot of my redness without aggravating my rosacea/dermatitis. It's a great added layer of moisture that most sunscreens don't provide so the tint never ends up flakey. My only grievance is that they don't offer subscriptions longer than 3 months (am I not using enough product? Who in the world is going through a bottle every 1-3 months?!) If they added a 6 month subscription I would immediately subscribe and never use another sunscreen again.
The non-tinted is a little bit casty — but not too bad if you have a fair skin tone. Amazing ingredients, and goes on nicely. Will buy again!
I have sensitive/ combo skin + Fungal Acne, this is a must! It can get a little too drying for my face depending of the humidity of my environment, but it makes a great chest/neck + shoulders/arms sunscreen at any time - I would buy this as a body sunscreen if it comes in bigger format ... I actually already use it this way hehe! I don't like the tacky feeling of other sunscreen, these traps moisture too much and gives me acne. KOA sunscreen has a perfect finishing light, absorbs into the skin, and you can forget about it. Also, I love the liquidy formula and bottle applicator together, I can simply roll the bottle on my chest, neck and apply: LOVE!
Love this stuff. I use the tinted version and have fair/medium skin tone. The tinted version doesn’t give any real color or coverage, so don’t expect that. But it absorbs wonderfully, no white cast, no odor or tacky feeling. It sinks in to the skin flawlessly and you feel like you have nothing on (which is what I love about it) It’s a little bit shiny / dewy, so I usually do a light dusting with a translucent powder afterwards. I also don’t feel like this is pore clogging, as some other mineral sunscreens I’ve tried have seemed to do. Would HIGHLY recommend. When I want to have a zero coverage, no makeup sort of day, I use this stuff. If I’m looking for a little more coverage, I highly recommend MyChelle’s tinted liquid mineral sunscreen SPF 50 in the glass bottle. I’ve finally found my two holy grail face / neck mineral sunscreens between Koa & Mychelle. Koa is also great under foundation and concealer - very versatile
This protects me from harmful rays and makes my skin look poreless and smooth as a baby's bottom.
